Room Hire

Paignton (Palace Avenue) Methodist Church has a number of rooms which are available for hire at competitive rates when they are not in use for church activities. They are suitable for one-off events such as meetings, concerts, dinners or parties or for regular use.

Our premises are available for hire from Monday to Saturday from 08.00 until 23.00.

Church Hall

Seating for up to 100 people with tables and chairs available.
Disabled Access.
There is a raised stage with curtains.
There is a self-contained kitchen situated next to the Church Hall.
Toilet facilities, including Disabled access and baby changing, are on this floor.

Room 1

Seating for up to 30 people with tables and chairs available.
Disabled Access.
There is hatchway access to a self-contained kitchen
Toilet facilities, including Disabled access and baby changing, are on this floor.

Room 2

Seating for up to 30+ people with tables and chairs available.
No Disabled Access.
Possible use of the kitchen on the ground floor or use of the kitchenette in room 3 if not already in use
Toilet facilities are on the ground floor.

Room 3

Seating for up to 15 people on sofas and armchairs.
No Disabled Access.
Possible use of the kitchen on the ground floor if not already in use.
Toilet facilities are on the ground floor.
A kitchenette is available

Church Foyer

Seating for up to 32 people with up to 8 tables available.
Disabled Access.
Includes a self-contained kitchen area which is suitable for making hot drinks etc.
Toilet facilities (not Disabled) are available through the church building.

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to health and safety concerns NO tables are to be put on the area at the top of the steps outside the front entrance of the church at any time. Any tables/stalls etc must be put on the flat area to the side at ground level (in front of the window). All tables/stalls etc are to be kept within the confines of the church boundary (i.e. no table legs over the wall and on the pavement).
