The Torbay Interfaith Forum exists to bring together people who are interested in learning more about the belief and practices of different Faiths. The Forum aims to foster greater understanding and friendship between people from different Faith groups, and to encourage among the general public a greater appreciation of the rich diversity of belief and practice within our own society and beyond.


 'The Golden Rule' is found in the scriptures of nearly every religion. It is often regarded as the most concise and general principle which lies at the heart of human behaviour.

The key concepts which it embraces are:

MUTUAL RESPECT : INTER-DEPENDENCE : COMPASSION : HARMONY

    In 2017 Peter came from Wiltshire to give a fascinating talk about his book - "Stolen Images - Pagan Symbolism and Christianity" He has agreed to come back and give another talk, this time about his latest book  "Dartmoor Mindscapes - Re-Visioning a Sacred Landscape", which explores his experiences and discoveries concerning Dartmoor's landscapes and sacred sites and their connection with the tors.
